The cell need an air intake from the outside to operate properly. Due to the fact the cell connects to the vacuum line of the engine, an air intake from the outside is needed to prevent negative pressure inside the cell. The result is a flow of hydrogen and oxygen gas mix with air into the engine(the air from the outside practically helps the electrolysis and pushes the gas into the engine).
To make it happen, a tube from the outside need to get through the cup and to go all the way down.
Outside, the tube is connected to a valve which give the option to control the air flow. The valve is barbed and connected to the cup with a glue of your choice.

When wrapping always overlap half the width of the tape on every wind.
Always wrap in the direction of the thread. As you wrap, keep tension on the tape so that it pulled into the thread. If you disconnect the plug, remove old tape and use fresh tape when returning it.
